you like Windsurfing - Golden Beach at Caloundra will be paradise.If you're experienced - go for it! You can head out to the Caloundra Bar and out into the Pacific Ocean, if you like.
Caloundra has produced Windsurfing World Champions! If you just want to watch, there is no better place than from your balcony at Sails Resort. Or maybe everyone can get involved - Why not make it a family event.

The perfect conditions for windsurfing are also excellent for Jet Skiing.
You can launch your ski at the boat ramp, directly in front of Sails.
If you are the adventurous type, don't forget to check the conditions before you embark on a Bar crossing. The Caloundra Coast Guard is conveniently located to Sails Resort and the local members will be only too happy to assist.

 If
you like fishing, you'll love Sails Resort, Golden Beach, Bribie Passage and
the Sunshine Coast of Queensland.
Sails Resort is positioned perfectly. You can throw a line in from the beach; launch your own boat from the boat ramp; hire a runabout from the nearby Boat Hire;

 If
your preference is sailing, you can hire a catamaran from the nearby sail
hire or launch your own at the Sailing Club.

If
you want to learn, Bribie Passage (on which Golden Beach is situated) is
safe and perfectly suited.
You
can take a ski down the Bribie Passage or, if you are really experienced,
you might decide to cross the Caloundra Bar and out into the Ocean where the
playground is limitless.
or,
if you want to go for the "big one", take a trip with one of the experienced
local fishing charter companies. 
If
you can't make up your mind, why not try sailing and windsurfing.
Another
alternative is to take a canoe or paddle ski. You can paddle across to
Bribie Island or explore the inlets of Bribie Passage.
